How to discourage white to castle queen side in sicilian Dragon?

I dont feel comfortable when white castle queenside and pawn storm my kingside in dragon sicilian.

how to discourage white to do queen side castling?

push the a-pawn and bring your queen to b6 kabayan.

You need to change openings then. If you follow the lines you have a decent game. When you try and deviate you're asking for a position to feel real uncomfortable in.

Thanks kabayan, Qb6? not a6 then b5?

@CJ_P but i thought its one line of dragon sicilian to force white to castle king by discouraging queenside castling? or i maybe wrong.

Or........... You could sac your a and b pawns, thus opening the files for your rooks.

If you don't want for white to castle Queenside, then just change opening, in the Dragon you will more than likely get pawnstormed.

You can try the accelerated dragon and do that ...Qa5 thing. In the normal dragon I don't think you can stop White from castling long.

They accelerated/hyper-accelerated dragon are designed to discourage Yugoslav style attacks.  In fact, with the hyper-accelerated dragon at least (I don't play the accelerated at all, so I'm not 100% on that), if white does a normal Yugoslav style setup black gets an advantage.  Something to look into.

These setups allow some pesky c3 stuff and the Maroczy Bind, both of which can be annoying in different ways, though.

Hey there my kabayan. I just happened to thread through my books dusting off the dirts and found a Book about the Sicilian Dragon by Gufeld and schiller. I think you may want to read that book. Sana makatulong.

Actually, the book you talk about is a little outdated, it's from 1998, and personally, I would recommend Edward Dearing's "Play the Sicilian Dragon" it is from 2004 and it explains everything pretty well, and it has lot's of theory, and the other book I recommend is "Secrets of the Sicilian Dragon Revised" By Eric Schiller. That book is up to date (Published in 2011), but has less theoretical content than "Play the Sicilian Dragon".
