Granted I'm not a grandmaster nor was I playing one. But, if your playing in my rating range, perhaps a few things to think about:
5...Bd7 was poor. After ...c6, unless white plays cxd5, that's the square for the knight. Usually what I do is leave the bishop at c8, and possibly play ...b6 later to move it to b7 and connect the rooks. Even here, 6...b6 would likely have been preferable to 6...Qc7, but I'm not sure.
I think 5...Bd7 was the dud that started the descent into madness. 5.Qa4 was only good in that it provoked your opponent into playing that move; it looks nice since it threatens a discovered attack on the queen, but the queen isn't on a good square anyway so it will happily move again, having disrupted black's piece play by removing a defender from b7 and blocking the queen knight's best square.
