Italian Game

This forum shall be a collection of games I play using the Italian Game opening. My opponents will range from low level players to high level players.

The purpose of why I made my forum is to collect my games, review them, learn from the mistakes I made, help others who might play similar lines, and hopefully improve. I hope you enjoy my games Lady's and Gentlemen. If you have any question, improvements, criticism, or comments on any of my games feel free to comment.

Italian Game begins with 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4

*Side note all my games range from 10-0 time control Blitz or 15-10 time control standard unless other wise noted on the game itself*

Just curious, what is the point of these forum posts? they are just blitz games you've played littered with many errors, no annotations etc.

Well my intro to this forum shows my purpose of why I make my forum's.

I do plan on adding some commentary to my games. The problem is that I just run out of time in a given day lol.Usually I have been averaging close to 1-3 hours when I review and add commentary per game. With all the annotations etc. Like If you check my recent activity for example. I might have uploaded close to 50-100 game's.

their just isn't enough time in a given day to do all 50-100 games in 1 day. Only a 24 hour period lol and I do other stuff in real life as well. So usually what I do is I load the games that I think are interesting on my forum's and than I add commentary to a couple every day.

I think I have been averaging close to 1-4 games every day. So like every day you will see commentary being added to 1-4 different games. I have played. If you have any specific game you might want me to add commentary to first for example you can ask me for sure and Ill do that as well. Usually I just pick the games at random. Might be some from this forum some from another than next day. I do same thing again.

I do think it helps improve my chess. Also people point out stuff that I missed on my game's as well which is nice. When I review my games than I see what people suggested as well as what engines think best move is etc.

People also have suggested that I use a blog for example instead of forum to do this but than I thought what's the point of using a blog no one will really see the blog's. So I won't get alot of insight information from a blog compared to a opening forum etc.

I have been storing my games on a personal Chess Database so to me a blog is just like another Chess Database that no one esle really see's. If I didn't want any1 to see my games and comment on them I would have a Chess Database and not a forum lol.

I believe Blogs and Chess Database do have their benefits especially if your a high level player and are trying to add noveltys for example.

However, They do have draw backs. By not having other people see your games. You can sometimes review your games in a bias/narrow minded point of view is what I believe.

For example I love some of my lines I play and when I review the game I might think its best ever than when I do same review in like a public or forum type of place other's might say its complete crap HA HA or something becuase they have different view points.

So thats in a nut shell of why I do my forum's. An they seem to be working for me becuase I have been having slowly but gradual growth in my chess.

Fair enough, I see some of the other games have lots of annotations, I was hoping to see the same in these, being an Italian player myself, was bummed just to see the moves and nothing else.

Ok I added the commentary. Yeah those where 2 very interesting games I will admit lol.

Yeah I believe I'm going to try and refine my approach with the way I upload my games instead of uploading them directly to here I might just upload them to my chessdatabase than as I make more games with commentary slowly filter them into here. yeah some commentors have been missing some of the annotations as well. I think maybe if I add the games with commentary before people see them might solve this. Plus it will also give me some feedback as well.

So what do you think would you like to see the best the games with out commentary first than having me add in the commentary or seeing the games with the commentary right off the bat?
