Don't worry about the spelling too much.

There are free chess databases online you can use. For example, http://www.chessopeningsdatabase.com/

I like that site too. Just be sure too clean out that part of the history since every move is a hyperlink.

Perhaps it's not so popular as Black because he doesn't play ...Nf6 straight away, so White gets the opportunity to erect the Maroczy bind with c4, which many Sicilian players are uncomfortable playing against.

It's not as dynamic as the other variations so it isn't played as much. It is usually played to transpose into a Taimanov. It's easier to play but harder to get counterplay while White will have a go at the kingside. When Black tries a hippo type defense (...g6, ...Bg7) then White will play Bf4, Qd2 trade off the dark squared bishops and pawn storm with g4 and h4. After 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 e6 3.d4 cd 4.Nxd4 a6 5.Bd3 Bc5 (most popular) 6.Nb3 Black has 6...Ba7 with the idea of creating problems for White's king before and after a possible f2-f4 push or 6...Be7 which is a rarer move but I don't think it's dangerous anyway.
