KID players,do you experience any big problems when you play against the 4 pawn attack?

I don't play the KID any more, but when I did, I always enjoyed playing against the 4-pawns attack. While I think Black has better winning chances than against some other lines, he also has an opportunity to get squashed like a bug if he isn't accurate. So it makes for an exciting game

The lines u offer have lots of holes like what if they replace d6 by o-o or what if they play e5 straight after they castle?

I used to be a KID player ages and ages and ages ago and it's never been too much of a problem, it was very aggressive though at times!

The Samisch kills.

Depends how you play against it, some players can hold off the Samisch very well.

Watch some Andrew Martin's vids on the KID he explains the Samisch well. 

If you play the king's indian,you need to know quite abit of theory against different lines but against other lines you can make it up!

There are a lot of KID players around and are not fazed by the Samisch. Yes, true there this a lot of theory around the KID but mostly if you follow the lines and muck up a bit you can make it up sometimes depending on your situation!!!

I play the four pawns attack - it's great. You need to know a ton of theory not to get crushed though... Especially in the Re8 lines. Here are the 2 main variations:

If black plays perfectly, he's getting an easy game. But if you know all the theory and he doesn't, you can get an easy game too.

i don't like remember a TON of theory so i quit this line(as black) but i still play the KID

This position can also be reached against the Benoni and it's really tactical. Why play the KID if you don't like tactics?

10.e5 is probally ok in the first one but I don't understand 9...Bg4.

Black should play 9...Re8 attacking the e-pawn before doing anything else. Black needs to play it anyway so why not play it now? Then after 10.Nd2 Black has to figure something out but Bg4 doesn't really help with that.
