king indian defense rare line...

hello chess fans i need info on this rarely used line of the kings indian defense.. 1.d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 4. e4 d6 5. Nf3 00 6. Bd3.... i have search some opening sites for games. so if any of my chess fans have information to share, about 6. Bd3 or advice feel free to share.....thanks

true and understand. i interested in game after black 6...Bg4 and Nc6 which in Mikhail Golubev's Understanding the King's Indian Defense. By attacking black center with Nc6 black has know problems. I've faced this line a few times and with mixed results....

I would say that it's slightly inferior to the more usual lines such as 6. Be2 or 6.h3. The move 6. Bd3 obstructs the d-file, interfering especially with the White Queen's guard of d4, and also does nothing about a potential pin by Bg4.

As Black, I would either play 6. ... e5 or 6. ... Bg4 (or possibly 6. ... Nbd7).
