I like the Bishop's Opening and its cousin the Vienna Game where an early f4 often leads to a K-side P-storm by White.
I played the King's Gambit once in my life in a rated game, just last month and won and I'm sure I'll try it again.

1. b4 seems aggressive to me.
it really isnt. they are some lines where white can play for a gambit but these are limited to only some of black's responses. almost always the opening becomes a closed game. the e5 bxb4 lines its black who starts aggressive and white plays catchup.
i think he was making a little joke?
i dont get it.

very aggressive and sound is the veserov. it focuses on quick piece play and 0-0-0,not unlike the 2.d5 nimzowitsch defense.
