i think i'll try the Alapin. doesn't look to deep. i'll get the chance to play some Kings Gambits while i'm at it. usually stay away from game with huge amount of theory, like the Ruy Lopez besides the Sicilian. the Alapin's a start, give it a go.

can anyone tell me some themes around the sicillian najdorf and dragon?

That's quite different from the regular dragon.
He said " a " Dragon...not the regular Dragon

Sorry, I don't know much dragon theory.
I've never really liked facing the Gruenfeld, because I'm yet to find a line against it that I'm totally happy with. And the black players seem to know it off by heart 25 moves deep.
All the lines where white has serious winning chances seem to involve saccing the Ra1 for the Bg7 in order to take over the long diagonal and try to annihilate the black king. This is somewhat double edged stuff, and a couple of times I've had to bail out and take a draw by some kind of perpetual check.
Any good ideas for lines against the Gruenfeld?
well e6 is a different story. Bb5 is useless. However you might be able to play c3
