There are a couple of good resources on the net to learn about chess openings:

1) http://www.eudesign.com/chessops/

2) http://www.chess-poster.com/openings/openings.htm

3) http://www.chessgames.com/perl/explorer

These are just a few of the many resources for chess openings available on the internet. If you search "chess openings" in any search engine you will find pages upon pages to read through.

Also if you have questions about specific move or specific opening lines you can post it here in the Chess Openings section of the forum and there are many eager chess enthusiasts ready to discuss the various opening questions.  Smile

Greeings ilysad,

No matter who you are, it will happen, happen, then happen some more.

Stick around, the best way is to play.  If you're like me, you'll learn what not to do.

Peace,

WolF

Now I am looking back all the way. From a novice a year ago,I can play above average now.I follow beginners chess with my own variations and I find it pretty difficult even for 1800 rated players to beat me easily. Once one of my opponents exclaimed " I did not know any 1 can play this'! Any 1 else following this variation?

If u do please share ur experiences.

Regards & best of liuck my initial guides.A big Thank you
