If u know well your stuff, almost everything is ok.
So my friend who is an IM and has 2 gm norms is struggling to play against the slav and semi-slav. He has a 40% record against it as white and he wants some help. What should he do? Any suggestions from titled players? By the way, he has the D4 gm repertoires and the classical slav gm repertoire books but not the gm repertoire semi slav book by schandorff. What lines should he play and what resources should he get? He plays the english and d4 as white. He plays the queens and nimzo indian as black. He also plays the sicilian if you want to know about his play style.
