The King Pawn Game (E00) occurs after 1.e4.

               This move frees the Bf1 and the Qd1. White plans to set up a classic center with d4, Nf3, Nc3, Bd3, Be3, 0-0, and so on. Other first move alternatives for White are 1.d4, 1.c4, and 1.Nf3. From This position, Black's major responses are 1. ... e5 Open Games, 1. ... c5 Sicilian Defense, 1. ... d5 Scandinavian Defense, 1. ... e6 French Defense, 1. ... d6 Pirc Defence, 1. ... c6 Caro-Kann Defense, and 1. ... Nf6 Alekhine's Defense.

The Open Games have their own opening book. And same goes with the Sicilian. These two are some of the most complex openings. The Scandinavian is not as popular, as it brings the Queen out for Black, and White Often gets advantage. The French is just as popular as the Open Games and Sicilian. Black aims to play d5, countering Whites center. This usually leads to a closed position, where Black is planning c5 or f6. The Caro-Kann Back also plans d5, but this is more of a drawish and passive opening. The Alekhine's is a hypermodern opening. Black's idea is that the White pawns will become overextended, and turn into targets.

If you are making an openings book I highly reccomend you organize them into a group so they're easier to read like a manual.
