Is it just me, or is this just some line in the Fried Liver?

Edit: Yeah, after looking this up, I can say that your opening here transposes to the Fried Liver after 6 moves. http://www.chess.com/opening/eco/C57_Italian_Game_Two_Knights_Defense_Fried_Liver_Attack

InfiniteFlash

you transposed to a fried liver lol, but white should be absolutely lost after 6..Na5 hitting the bishop on c4.

5.exd5 the best way to reach the desired position.

there may follow your line 5..Nxd5?! (risky position let me say) 6.Nxf7 Kxf7 7.Qf3+ Ke6 (only way to defend the piece) 8.Nc3, when one word describes white's position:

                                            Attack.

Escapest_Pawn

Old hat.  black usually tries to hold the piece with 7...Ke6

When I was your age, I thought I had invented the Muzio.

EDIT:

I thought I was the first respondent, and confess that i did not see how you got there as I skipped ahead to move 6.

RandomMemory is completely correct. 5 exd5 is book and you should prepare for an immediate 5...Na5 as well where black gets an attack for his pawn.

Where do I start on black's play in this opening.
