What do you guys think of this move? I just played a game with it, as I dont know najdorf lines so I picked this interesting move.

so what do you guys think? I lost my game I played because I  castled queenside and didnt do well against a pawn storm (like i said before im just now learning najdorf ideas and such) but it look even to me, maybe even a draw. What does everyone think?

0-0-0 was certaintly acurate, I would follow up with a4 to eliminate b5 and then start working on creating a break on the Kingside.

@jetfight i tried that play he advanced b4 and I wasnt feeling to good then

@Vlad the goal of this line would be a draw, so if you want/need a draw like anand did in the championship match then it would be good

yeah the reason Im looking at it is likeI said in post four. In certain situations you need to draw, such as Anand in game for the the WC tiebreaks. So choose an opening that is drawish

yeah I do think taking with the bishop is better.

the reason I like this is i always lose against the najdorf, as I have not studied it yet. So to play this simple novelty gets my opponent out of book and evens things up, at least until i learn the main lines :)
