Its a bit like the scotch.

In that Scotch line, 4...Nxd4 by black is a mistake (lets the queen to come to the center without being challenged).

Yeah, The Scoth is a fail opening, In my opinion.

For black, For White i like it. Just like scar said, Nxd4 is...Failure by black.

Although Queens Control allows black to challenge, Which is good by black.

I like it with both sides; it's a great opening. It's just that 4...Nxd4 is bad. Try instead ...Bc5, ...Nf6 or even ...Qh4.

But the thread is about the Center Game; or "Queen's Control", as you call it. Which I don't like for White, because of Nytik's line, where I'd rather have Black.

Seems a pretty good opening actually. There's a very strong player in the region where I live who has recently been crushing everyone in turn in county matches and in tournaments. His only 2 losses in this period came playing Black against this opening.

I love it, i do it all the time.
