I am too having some difficulties in grammar. 

Hmm, I think other moves have become very popular now such as 1. d4, 1. c4, and 1. Nf3 which we see being played by the world's best in recent times. Not as much 1. e4 openings as it used to be years ago.

Nf3 or Nc3 is a great opening in my view that way you can protect your pawns on the next moves
