Have you heard of the Hobbs gambit, Sprite?

1. f4 g5

Which will give you some fun games, though it probably isn't technically the best response. Usually continued as 2. fxg5 then usually either 2. ... e5 or 2. ... d5

Against 1.e4 my main weapon is the Nimzowitsch defense 1...Nc6 and on occasion the Sicilian Kan.

Against 1.d4 I employ the Chigorin Defense 1...d5 2.c4 Nc6 and on occasion the Dutch Defense

I usually play e5 and sometime Sicilian ( najdorf ) . But i am still finding Sicilian too tricky . If I reply I usually end up with Ruy Lopez or Italian game.
