i do not know if this has already been posted or not...but i remember reading on a forum somewere that we got a prize for geting over 1000 member piont's.Is this true????
is gaining 1ooo points not enough for you?
I believe that it is true... but if the site even begins to suspect you are just posting for the prize they have the option of not giving it to you. Don't feel hard done by though, I hear they donate the prize to a respectable charity.
Shouldn't you have noticed?
i am not posting just for points
that is true
thanks for the ansewer! i think i'll delete this topic now
thats a good unoff reward for me
No need to delete, it might be good for others who may have run across that old post as well.
It's NOT true... Look at my Member Points!!! {4975}
I did not recieve a Prize for 1,000 Member Points.
ADK
that is true im sure erik would not want to pay for that.
I wonder how many members you have bored.
Hmmm... I'd say everyone I met; LOL...
Well if it's 1000 points meaning 1000 short comments with no insight: "First. Easy.", then I'm not sure how that values. However a 1000 points is a lot of posts proving that you spend a lot of time on chess.com.
If this is true, then I think we should do something like voting the member of the month who gets one free month of membership, and the member of the year who gets one free year of membership. Criterias for electing prime members would be points, opponant rating (a good idea to check on people's behavior during games), but then a public vote with 10+ candidates, each chosen by chess.com staff.
