The fool's mate 1.f3 e5 2. g4 Qh4#  is now going to be known as the Kimbo. The start is ugly and it's over quick, so I think it perfectly fitting!

The Kimbo was a pretty ugly move to begin with.  At least Chuck Liddell has at least a trace of good looks.  Kimbo just looks like the guy you wouldn't want to run into in a back alley.  I LOLed when I was watching Missouri vs Nebraska and they posted the results of the fight.  Each time they posted it at the bottom, it scrolled through like ten times in succession.  I think they were trying to get the point across.  We *do* know why Kimbo lost tonight, though, right?  It's because it was nationally televised.  If he loses, then more people have a reason to watch, instead of watching him win over and over and over again.  It's really no different from WWE, TNA, etc.  All scripted, just a little more realism because of the pain :)

I would bet on CBS' soon to be defunct MMA show that it's not scripted. Their ratings cash cow just got slaughtered. Kimbo would be a good boxer if he worked on his footwork. To assume that he could hold his own against true martial artists is as faulty as g4 holding its own against a queen. These are world class fighters, and unfortunately for Kimbo, they don't spend their time training at backyard barbeques.

Kimbo was working out at my gym last week.

He was doing strictly interval cardio training.

Looks like he should have done some 'keep hands up by face' training Laughing
