For those who don't know the Reti System, it is 1.Nf3. Devised by Richard Reti. I've made up a new line, and want to see if its worth playing or if it can be easily refuted.
Basically refusing the pawn by 4...e4 refutes it, forcing the night to go back home, and after Nf6 and further developing moves, white has nothing and is behind in development while black has a great game
yeah 4...e4 or even 5...e4 looks good for black
White is actually loosing from move five, because black is way ahead in development, and you needed a gross blunder (16...Nd6??) to gain a remotely possible attack.
Your choice of opening was not great either--you never play c4 in the KIA against e5 and d5, for fear of e4 or d4. If you want to play c4, play 1. Nf3 d5 2. c4. In the KIA, c4 is not intelligent.
So your line is not very smart for white.
