Isn't that game one of the games from the blog posts. I believe Keyif made a post about this trap. Legall's(sorry if I misspelled) mate I believe? I wanted to use that in one of my games but I keep fogetting how it goes...Good job though!

thanks to chess.com i had seen this game and was aware of such possibility. not remember whoes game it was but thanks to you too.

this game happened to me once , i do it for fun when the queen raid happens. you wont loose ratings. i think its the shortest checkmate possible

I believe the shortest mate possible is in two moves, and black wins.

1. f4   e6

2. g4   Qh4#

But it's hard to imagine white opening in this way...

And no, I did not make this one up.  My Dad showed it to me when I was a kid, about 35 years ago.
