Isn't that game one of the games from the blog posts. I believe Keyif made a post about this trap. Legall's(sorry if I misspelled) mate I believe? I wanted to use that in one of my games but I keep fogetting how it goes...Good job though!

It wasn't a mate, but it was my shortest game.

Holy crap, I don't remember posting in this thread!  This was a long time back.

I believe the shortest mate possible is in two moves, and black wins.

1. f4   e6

2. g4   Qh4#

But it's hard to imagine white opening in this way...

And no, I did not make this one up.  My Dad showed it to me when I was a kid, about 35 years ago.
