this is what happened in my game
Is my opponent using fritz. He used that against me. Sadly I'm ahead one pawn just play 4...Qc7 and play normally
4...Qc7 is very uncommon.
4...c6 is better.
as you can see I played 3...c6 lol
4...Qc7 is a bad move, the queen can be harassed there by a knight, and d5 is less secure.
Black should NOT bother protecting the b7 pawn at all. Simply 4...Nf6, and if 5.Qxb7, Nbd7 etc.
I had a player do this to me once. I did not feel I had any real advantage as black at that point. Not sure though.
6....e6 loses the B@g4 at once with 7.Qa4+ Nc6 8.Qxg4
Yes, Black typically blundered the g4 bishop, and white failed to notice.
oops didnt see that lol
This is just another side effect of the right move 4...Nf6: Not only Black develops naturally, the g4 bishop is not en prise.
The b7 pawn is not important at all while developing, let white take it.
Factly, if you use an engine, it may come up with the line 1.g4 d5 2.Bg2 Bxg4 3.c4 c6 4.Qb3 Nf6 5. Nc3 Qd7, with advantage to Black.
But 5...Qd7 is an oddball, this square really belongs to the b8 knight. The simple and natural 5...e6 is the right move to play, and white has just a bad position.
Help with analysis please!
