This is a good move order for your opponent if he is willing to allow a Semislav but not a pure Slav. Here are your choices, basically (none of these play like anything like a pure Slav):
- 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nc3 dxc4 (don't get lured by 3...e5, it is bad)
- 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.e3 g6
- 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.e3 a6
Hello everybody!
I have a little problem with the slav defence.
I know these two lines, and this is why I am in trouble.
But the first position is the "combination" of the other two positions, and I do not know what to play. I do not want a semi-slav defence.
