You have discovered the rapid transit players' favorite gambit opening against 1...c5. As a surprise weapon when playing opponents rated under 1700 it is excellent.
As soon as a player discovers that he can decline the gambit with 1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.c3 Nf6 and give White migraine headaches, all the fun for White goes up in smoke.
Yes, petrosianpupil, my 6 opening repertoire includes the Sicilian 1...c5 in response to 1.e4 by White. I know the main lines and anti-Sicilians 35-40 moves deep including transposition junctures to other variations within the Sicilian and to other openings.
I just like to have fun with newbs to the Smith-Morra who like to play it as White. I don't play on this site. I play on ICC's website.
