Its overall nature looks to be a little passive, but definitely playable if you can get into that position without making concessions in your position.

At first when I went to this topic I was thinking that you were talking about the 'hippopotamus defence'. Being a proponent of Unorthodox openings and gambits, I decided to look at the 'position'. It looks like Black has finally sacrificed enough material to gain initiative, and now there is no stopping the rage of the lone king! ROFL ROFL

Agh! I'm stupid... I was thinking of hippopotamus defence, not the system as white... that's cool though... although normally I would do something a little more attacking/classical as white than that. Every piece is developed to its most 'modern' square.
