I think Black's position is relatively solid, even if White has a slight edge.

Here this is a very complex position, but Black still seems fine.

I played a really neat game that came out of a caro-kann.  I got to a position and was inspired by a move nigel short tried.  I eventually won the game, but missed a nice tactic in the mid game.  I will look up this game for you to check out.

The game was Me vs. Hilaking in the Caro-Kann advance variation.

I put a remark at a spot where I missed a nice tactic.  I'll let you attempt it yourself before just giving the answer.  I was unable to find it in my game and I looked for a whole day.

    Couldn't find it myself! :(

That was a good tactic, you should submit it to TT!

I think I did.  Perhaps I should hit up Bruce again and ask him.  He seems to get stuff done almost instantly when it comes to tactics trainer.  I literally send him a message about a poor tactic and within minutes he replies with tactic removed or fixed or whatever.  Were you able to find the tactic somehow or do you want me to tell you how it works?

Is it 16.Bxd7 Qxd7 17.Nc6? Certainly difficult to see. I only found it when I looked using the analysis board.

That is correct.  And after bxNc6 Nxf6+ and then you win the queen.
