The Hungarian opening... an opening worth trying?

It seems to score pretty well against black... have started to fianchetto my bishops more often in recent times and I think it has benefited me...

don't be confused by the name "Hungarian opening", all it refers to is white preparing to fianchetto its light space bishop before it does anything else in the opening.

Ain't nothing wrong with it.  Just got to be prepared to play about a million different pawn structures because you handing all the choice about what to play to black.

Why not at least play 1. c4 first so your bishop will actually have some squares to aim at, rather than a pawn mass he has no hope of influencing.
