Dont make the mistake, taking him too serious...
He should be thankful he didn't have some NM claiming the a-pawn is just as valuable in all situations as the f-pawn, thus concluding the BDG is a good opening.

Mr. Scheerer, I do not care if some "well received" person welcomed your ...Nc6 book. But I do care about the suggestions over 1.e4 Nc6 2.Nf3 as well as 1.e4 Nc6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 (close to being the two moves one is likely to meet most often) which are both bad, actually the first suggestion 1.e4 Nc6 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.e5 Ng4 4.d4 d6 5.h3 Nh6 comes pretty close to losing by force. Apparently any serious author would ask an apology from the people they spent money to buy such stuff, but alas, this doesn't seem to be the case here.

Now, you have to forgive me about not buying your Blackmar book, but after reading your pitiful Nc6 one, I simply don't trust you- noone mildly sane would.
I see. Too bad that it seems beneath you to communicate in a civilized manner, but I guess I should have expected some slanderous behaviour from someone who lives in a country where people routinely evade taxes and publically march the streets dressed as Hitler in order to protest against someone who tries to save them from total bankruptcy.
I do not endorse the BDG in my book. Nowhere did I ever say that it is good/better for White. In fact, I did state on numerous occasions that White has problems in some lines (including the Ziegler you mentioned). You of course can't know that, you "don't study pulp". That you choose to cast a slur on me nonetheless is intensely embarrassing.
As for my 1...Nc6 book: The line you mentioned is indeed not covered. Since you mentioned Boris Avrukh: In his 1.d4 Vol.I, he does cover the Tarrasch Defence, but he omits the Schara-Hennig Gambit. You of course will argue that this line is "crappy", "loses by force" etc. blabla, but this is by no means trivial. Does that make his book bad?
I am sorry that you don't like my book. Many others do. I would invite you to enlighten the crowd by writing a book yourself (on any topic you might choose), but I guess you are just more capable (and comfortable) sniping at others.
even if you are right, taking the entire greek population hostage in your private feud is definetly not the way to go. After all even if he were the worst person on earth, greek is still the birthplace of Democracy for whatever thats worth....

Thanks to mr.Scheerer's insightful comment, I have realized that Greeks should be grateful about Merkelism trying to save the failing private money laundries with public money, which are virtually exclusively derived from taxes. He fails to mention though, that the greatest tax dodgers are the big shareholders of the failing laundries Frau Merkel is trying to rescue...
But isn't this the main dogma of the neo-capitalists? Profits should be private, and losses public.
Having second thoughts, I may buy his BDG book... his chess analyses cannot be worse than his political ones, after all.
Just for his information, the Greek nazist party (which is effectively a couple of years old) is actively sponsored by a close cast of Greek shipowners, which, needless to say, have deposited their money at Suiss and Luxembourg banks. They don't ask much in return- just their support regarding deregulation of their business sector, and tax breaks...

Not that you need my help pfren, but I agree with you on your analysis on the BDG. I also agree with many of your other assertions and find it extremely rude and in bad taste for someone to personally attack you over something you have no control over. Greece, is a marvelous Country, and most of the people there are some of the best in the World.
well that is a tad further then i would go, but greek people are ok.
to be honest i also thought Anthony Quinn looked like a greek.
The Greeks are some of the best TetsuoShima, because of their history. Food and wine. I have never been, but always wanted to go, ever since I was a kid and read the Illad by Homer. I am surprised Greece's tourist resource alone didn't stave off the greedy world bankers. Anyway their Country is in my thoughts, and prayers.
The Greeks are no more (or less) OK than any other nation. The real problem is not that one, and Greece is not the only failing EU economy- Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, are more or less on the same boat- only Cyprus is a different case. The failure here is both political, and institutional, and the right solution would certainly be letting the failing banking system to default, instead of pouring state money into the banking system, and getting defaulted national economies. Only Merkelists and all sorts of venture capitalists insist linking the state finances to their oozy "open markets".

So our german chancellor Angela "the megacapitalist" Merkel is the source of all evil.
Wow, you are not only the greatest chess player of the universe, you are also an exceptionally talented economist.
I always thought, Greeks bad situation has intern reasons, f.e. people still receive generous pensions years after they died (the greek pension system is so ingenious in general, when you compare it to the german pension system) or because of massive corruption and tax fraud.
But finally i know the truth!
Thanks for another brilliant enlightenment...let me be your worshipper, pfren!
Now iam proud to pay a part of my tax to your country!
Maybe a tax for playing crappy openings would solve the problem.
I have seen a similar instance of how a Country's political leader/s sale off their Countries resource rights to a bunch of crooks to bypass laws and accountability issues. It basically doesn't do anything but, enslave the people, strips and ruins the land. It causes mass unemployment, and monetary depression/hyper inflation. It has happened in Africa. Hopefully it will not happen to Greece and other Countries in the EU.
i dont think italy and ireland are failing though, but the others are probably... but i havent followed it lately.
Suvel_Karmarkar
wow seems interesting
Ah, what a pity... You blundered - again.
Why I'm not surprised at all?
The problem is someone being so dumb, that he not understanding one very simple statement, the others are thinking he does it on purpose...
OK, don't worry... you can keep your lovely chancellor all for yourself. You may even embalm her, we could not care less.
