Any thoughts?

Bad. What is your compensation for losing control of the center and losing the e-pawn? None. You may potentially win it back but black equalizes (or better) easily.

not terrible
This gambit is inspired by bullet chess :)

Lol, I've done that a million times!

This gambit is bad for White--
Black with the right moves gets the advantage.
I figured that, but what's the mainline? XD

Something better against the Scandinavian would be to transpose into the Blackmar Diemer gambit. It's extremely aggressive and has a trap in it.

It's a reverse budapest up a tempo isn't it

4. Nc3 transposes.
Anyway, that's not the point here. I'm not sure what it's called, but there's a guy at the chess club who plays this gambit. He opens with 1. Nf3 and answers d5 with 2. e4 dxe4 3. Ng5. There are tricks against f7 if black isn't careful, but black is fine if he is.

White can probably try other things, but black still holds onto the pawn and white has no compensation.

Indeed, but Black should be happy about that: the extra move would be c7-c5, which allows some check from b5, and also doesn't allow the f8 bishop to get there.

Can't black ignore the gambit line and go for a french instead?
Goomper
Those are perfectly legitimate chess moves, but they don't seem to have anything to do with the thread at hand.
As for the other gambit line it looks sound to me but lets black equalise quickly:
How in the world did I manage to turn this into a serious discussion of opening theory?
ChristianSoldier007
not about the OP, but the blackmar diemer
