Actually it's overrated by the people who play it. They think they will get a strong attack no matter what but then black doesn't let him do it.

My all time favourite opening is the Centre game which IMO is massively underated. Against lower rated players I can get really quick wins as it is so aggressive and tactics start to flow. I have beaten someone rated 2100 with it as well so it is not just a patzer opening. I have posted a great gambit which is one of the main lines. If you know the opening really well like I do you can get really good attacking chances with it. Not one to play against a computer but against people it is great as it is so hard to defend. I challenge someone to beat me when I play it!

I actually think the the Fried Liver Attack, the Trompowsky Attack and the Scandinavian are all underrated openings.
i have played the fried liver and know tat it ownz. the others i dont know about
