 Actually it's overrated by the people who play it. They think they will get a strong attack no matter what but then black doesn't let him do it.

nice, thx for the great response amnesiac! But yeah i agree birds is overrated by those who play it, kings gambit is underrated uberly

I actually think the the Fried Liver Attack, the Trompowsky Attack and the Scandinavian are all underrated openings.
