My favorite opening, The Vienna Gambit in particular. Anyone have any tips on it, because I just started playing it. Anything related to the opening welcome

i'm not a master of the vienna, but if i'm not mistaken it was once a very sharp opening which has since lost it's bite.

I don't play the Vienna with 1. e4, I prefer the Ruy Lopez which can lead to very interesting middlegame positions. However, I do transpose to the Vienna game when I play 1. Nc3 e5 2. e4, I think 1. Nc3! is an underestimated starting move and it has good surprise value where you have chances to bring your opponent into an opening which they are not comfortable with.
