i want to know what peoples favorite chess openings are, and why, also please show an example.

That opening breaks most of the principles of chess lol.  It looks cool, but is it effective?  Your light bishop is blocked in, your Ns are on the outside, and your opponent hasn't moved yet!  :)

Looks hot, though haha. 

I like 1. f4 or 1. Nf3 or 1. d4 mostly.  1. f4 lately more than the others.  Theory gets boring...

i know my opponent hasn't moved yet and yes it is effctive usually i only get this far

 so it gives me an opportunity to control the center and castle strongly while my opponent dosn't get very far
