white is playing the kings pawn attack, defended by the Sicilian...2: D4 from white is the "smith morra gambit". never played it myself, but its really not a great start from white. 2...cxd4 gives white a 32.6% chance of win with black at 45.1& chance of win. < hope that helps :)
