    Black is weakening his center control.  For the moment, the knight is controlling the e4 square discouraging an e4 pawn advance from white.  After Ndxe4 and dxe4, blacks center is broken up, and the pawn on e4 could be awkward to defend.  just my thoughts....

    It looks playable. There are few GM games with this move.
