I say a4 for unsubstantiated reasons.
The Queen's Rook is not only a better protector of pawns, it is also more hansdome.
Which is better: complaints about naughty behavior by crybabies or discussions of Fischer as a nutjob?
I wonder who arranged that...
id say just insta-resigning is better
I would say a4. The "h" is needed for the thread title.
Actually I thought it was a clever pun as I was eating a peanut butter and potato chip sandwich at the time.
why not e4? that is standard. if not, then d4?
why are they bad?
a4 is better, because h4 weakens the king.
A4 as it doesn't let down the kings defence.
yes, but why not e4?
Because the question is about a4 and h4!
both moves are horrible compared to the option with e4!
h4 is better than a4 because it is the height of arrogance! hahaha
a4 is for pussies. h4! and attack the kingside!
Both moves are horrible, but check the ranking of openings I listed in one of my blogs.
1. a4 is much better: CASTLE KINGSIDE! h4 weakens the kingside
That is not the question...
h4 is MUCH better. It attacks the king. Some white moves could be h4,h5,h6,d4,nc3, bf4,qd2,o-o-o,g4,g5...
