rule question to admins....

    Hi guys,

    I about to check mate in this game but the user RookMeAmadues have repeat the move about 6 times (checking backward and forward).

    Is there a rule that prevent this cheap move?

    After three repeats of the position either player is eligible to claim a draw using the claim draw button on the right-hand side of the game.

    If you consider it a cheap-shot to repeat the same moves, why are you doing it?

    Why is it cheap to play for the draw when you can't win ?

    A chess game has one of three conclusions win/lose/draw each of them equaly valid as each other.

    If you don't want to draw then make a different move to the one thats causing the problem (ah...but that would let him checkmate you).
