Am I doing anything wrong for CHESS by telling GSCA is unregistered body?

 

 

Goa State Chess Association (GSCA) is going to hold National B Chess tournament from Sep 15 to 23. It will select 13 players this year to play in National A.

Will it be right if an unregistered firm/organisation organised such a prestigious tournament?


Any cirtificate issued by unregistered organisation will have any locus standi? What if some one chanllenges the certificate after few years...


At least till today no reneval application has been submitted to the registrar of societies Act 1860.



I have initiated steps to stop them organising any Selection tournament ....

Affiliation : TCA takes GSCA to Court

On receipt of letter dt 20/06/08 from Goa State Chess Association (GSCA) informing us that affiliation of "Taleigao Chess Academy will not be renewed until Shri shrikant Barve, their Secretary cleared of all charges by All India Chess Federation who has been suspended from all chess activities pending enquiry." We had sent letter to GSCA on June 25 requesting for affiliation.

As no favorable reply has been received from GSCA till date we have filed a suit in the court of Civil Judge Junier Division Panaji (63 of 08 'C' court) with a prayer that

1. Action of Goa State Chess Association is without application of mind, de horse the rules and regulations and therefore the same is declared as null and void.
2. for a mandatory injuction, directing GSCA to withdraw the letters dated 20.06.08 and to renew the membership of Taleigao Chess Academy for the year 08/09.
