Didn't Alekhine dodge Capablanca for the rest of his life after promising a rematch as a condition of their first match?

Capablanca was world champion from 1921-1927. He lost it to Alekhine. Alekhine lost the championship to Max Euwe in 1935. Then regained it in a return match in 1937. Fron then on, Alekhine held the championship until his death in 1946.

that is correct ......butit worth noting that alekhine didnt allow capablanca to rematch him , during the period after 1927 , by demanding high barriers conditions for the rematch , i believe it was not possible because of thr ressession during that period
