While I still think I was right about that guy cheating, I deleted my original post since people are rigth saying you shouldn't accuse someone in public instead of reporting them to the admins, which is what I will do instead.

As I said I really don't care about losing, but I do care about honesty.

great, i just lost an extended post addressing all the points in your original post!  I wish there was some way chess.com could save what you've written before it tries to submit it.  Anyway, i basically just said how there were several moves that were uncomputer like, and were weaker moves, that your opponent played.  Also several moves were very beginner-human-like.  And once you had given him 2 pieces just about any move was going to appear "accurate" because it's always going to seem like he has another piece backing him up in any plan.  if he was making stupid comments then it sounds like you just found an arrogant blitz player who thinks playing faster is playing better, and maybe the reason his other games were also poor is because he was playing too fast.

i agree having run the game quickly through my analyser SB played some truly awful moves giving away pieces.

bolla followed the engine a lot of the time but mainly because they were so obvious my cat could have played those moves.

the decider for me came at the end when my engine identified a quick forced mating line and bolla did not follow it.

so accept it SB you were beaten by your own bad play

How can someone have “computer like moves”? If you lost to someone who was a lower rank then you that means nothing. The ranks we have are just statistical numbers from our wins and losses. If a player stops making mistakes and starts playing chess, you can’t call that cheating. I played go for a week before beating a master on his board. Its just depends if you can find the right move to win, or if your opponent messes up.

Yeah, that was definitely one of my worst games. I was playing throughout the better part of the day and I was pretty tired by that point. I'm man enough to admit I may have been wrong. I think mainly it was the guy's previous record, and his arrogance and immaturity from the very beginning that made me very suspicious. At least I've never met a player of that rating who played with such speed, confidence, and accuracy from start to finish. Also, in chess engines you can select the difficulty, so he may have selected a *weaker* player to play for him as not to arouse too much suspicion. Of course this is just theoretical, but definitely possible.

Anyway, as I said I really don't care about it that much. If he's cheating that's really his problem and no one else's. I don't care about losing that game. It was just a combination of too many things that didn't add up.
