I was driving on 90, east of Syracuse today, and drove under an overpass that had the road name posted on a pretty green sign.  The road name was Indian Opening.

I guess they couldn't decide whether to go with the king's or queen's.

No, how does the format work? (geting more votes has nothing to do with luck).

    You must be new here.

    Hurtin'.  Hurtin' bad.

Hurtin' bad in a good way, or hurtin' bad in a bad way?

Is it a pirate's booty? Was rum part of the event?

That's how I usually wake-up. But if I have my shoes on when I wake up, that's when I probably drank too muchWink

kco, the Head of Nominees, has nominated:

    Charlotte_212     11

    Conquistador     3

    theoreticalboy     9

    __________________________________________________

Since voting has ended, Charlotte_212, congratulations, you have missed elimination and are going to continue in the running for CPOTM April! Conquistador and theoreticalboy will be eliminated. So far, the members on the list are:

    kco

    NimzoRoy

    Charlotte_212

There will be another competition for a new Head of Nominees! The winner will be automatically safe from the other elimination voting. For example, if player A wins, then players B and C will be facing off in a vote to stay. Since player A won the Head of Nominees competition, he will not be in the elimination voting and automatically advances to the final two.

Now, the competition for this Head of Nominees will NOT be a vote. It will be a series of questions, like last time, but I will make them as hard as I can :P

I will send the questions via message ASAP.

    ______________________________________________

    Where is NimzoRoy?

Since kco did not nominate him from the list he was given: theoreticalboy, Charlotte_212, Conquistador, NimzoRoy; NimzoRoy is safe. He is still in the running, but kco did not pick him for elimination.

Don't worry, trysts; last time I checked, I was still in the lead to win Woodshover of the Month March 2012.

Don't forget to talk about talent, and make sure you threaten to quit chessWink

I actually did quit for a long while, so I guess I'll have to avoid doing that again.  I'm also working on my pithy one-liners, and questions that are too large to fit into the subject title and as such spill into my first post.

I guess I've got as much talent for wearing shoes as I do for playing chess!

I'm not very good at either. Untied laces, flat tires, it's embarassing. Maybe Nimzoroy could give me avice on the Nimzo-Indian.

The vote count has been wibbly-wobbly all month, is proknight working in a bistro by any chance?

Woodshover's best one was simply called "Computer". He had to go to work, so he was nice enough to find the time to start a thread:

"How was the play the computer thing on here improved? I don't have time to check it out myself right now, since I have to go soon."
