In July of 2011, Sisyphus finally pushed that damn boulder to the top of the hill, forever silencing the flood of rumours that he was always going to be in second place no matter what he did his entire life. Pdela shocked the Chess.com community by winning CPOTM. Though each person who voted for him will ultimately remain confused by their decision, his win gave the community a momentary feeling of relief. Even proknight was overtaken by the relief by stating:
"... ... pdela! After dropping out from the contest, re-entering, and is known to get second place most of the time, pdela has finally won CPOTM for July."

As Camus sort of said; one must never imagine pdela happy, nor anyone who has ever consorted with him.

Not quite. Although the proportions of leather, metal and skin are correct.
In July of 2010, Atudor entered the contest just as any other nominee. One could not imagine in their wildest CPOTM nightmares, that that simple entry would be accompanied by an unstoppable campaign for votes, pages of deleted comments, the first CPOTM thread-lock, and the first CPOTM coup! To this day, it remains questionable whether or not it was entertaining

i'm going to bed now, but i won't sleep much. good luck kco! and thank you to all the people that voted for me this month, and Lisa for nominating me. please don't do it again
lol
Chess.com hazing.
Won't do it again. Maybe I won't have to.
Good luck to both of you. :)
In August of 2010, LisaV introduced for the first time in the history of CPOTM, a rare and ultimately dangerous weapon: Pictures of women in leather, carrying whips. Some "gentlemen" voted hundreds of times, as if their digits were out of control. It turned out to be a landslide victory for LisaV, with some people still believing that a person named Xenia won that month...
haha
I must take issue with your interpretation, though. I won clearly because of my purity and innocence, not because of stuff like this:
Cool!
Maybe if we get enough people to lobby proKnight to allow pictures in the contest again, we can all see more of Xenia! Hint hint.
As it is, Xenia's feeling like her hands are tied. :(
