Hey everyone,

I am currently ranked in between 1000 and 1100. I am looking for a coach that will just basically help me increase that. I know that's asking a lot, but i think i have enough skill to increase quickly with the right teachings. So if you are willing to help me, just leave a comment at the bottom. Thanks...

Ask one of your parents to buy you a Diamond Membership here for one month, if you are truly interested in increasing your game. The Chess Mentor, along with the Tactics Trainer, will definetly bring your game up, maybe 500 or 600 points, easily. I've noticed a great change in my game since I started using the Tactics Trainer, and my rating has already gone up 100 points!

If you are willing to spend $13, I'd definetly recommend it! You can learn on your own time, and in your own home also! You don't have to go to a club and study under a teacher there (unless you really want to).

I'd also recommend going to your library and see if they have any chess books. Strategy, endgames, whatever they have. Try and dedicate yourself to reading through them. That's the cheapest way to study chess, unless you are currently housing a Master who is willing to teach you chess, which coincidentally happened to my friend 2 months ago. He is now around 1800. Yell

I could play some take-back games if you would like, im only around a 1350 but i could help you brake 1200. I could basically just show you what to look for in a game.

you should get a coach the cheescom tacticts trainer and training software isnt very good. you will have to pay though so use that on the coach instead of the site.

I can try to give you free advice, I am not a coach nor a mentor nor a certified Fide or USCF player, I have no formal training program.

If you tell me what it is that you want I may be able to help you out.

I have played chess for over 45 years and if you can use my help, send me a message.

Being a total beginner, it makes sense to read a basic book on chess, there's no special need for coaching at this level unless you dislike reading and prefer to learn by doing. Smile
