I do not agree one bit. Practicing tactics on a tactics trainer is only to stimulate your chess thinking, as a prelude to more serious training. Also, 50 puzzles in one day is way, way, way too many and will burn you out quickly. If the goal is to expand your knowledge of tactics, that's why you go over your games!

With tactics...its quality over quantity.  I do 3-5 a day, but i make sure i UNDERSTAND each one completely.

I can give advice cuz my OTB rating is 1780, close to Class A. I'm probably not a good coach.

I saw my group mentioned in this topic. I have hundreds of free videos on YouTube and you will learn a lot from them. I can't coach you for free, but the resources in my group and my videos are free. My students improve!

Dick Turpin worked with a lot of coaches.

I was busy with other stuff, and I am looking at them now.
