Looking for your favorite opponent and the reason why. (No you can't say Screekdawg because he is a easy win!)

My older brother because he's always very prideful and not a bad player but when I win he doesn't say anything and when I lose you can't stop him.Nevertheless he doesn't say useless stuff, he'll usaully just rub it in A LOT.The best thing is that when I play him the first time I'll STOMP him and then the second and third game he will dominate so I can't recover until the last game and then it's still close but I manage a win. As for my online opponent I would say Porcus because I have lost all of the games except one and he'll still play me.I welcome a challenge.

Definitely a college buddy of mine.  He came up to visit this week and we played a game.  He ended up down material, but won anyway with a brilliant sacrifice that destroyed my castle.  I was right on the verge of winning, too.  I taught him how to play and before I knew it he was kicking my butt all the time.  He doesn't play much, but is a natural.

I enjoy playing against my son.  I taught him when he was young and he was beating me by the time he was 13.   Now 9 years later his even better.  It is a challenge and always fun.

Hi screekdawg

I like friendly opponents, like you and jett26. when jett26 challenges me he name de game "hey friend"! lol  I enjoy games with nice people who never forget that they are playing with other person,  it makes no difference the results of the games when we are having a good time playing chess.

I like to win as everybody, and I do preffer rematch good buddies. (otherwise I would play against the computer...)

Nice off the chess board doesn't mean nice on the chess board... I'm friendly with some opponents but that doesn't mean I'm going to 'go easy' on them.

Nobody says that we are laying down and all is nice nice , but it is nice to know that your opponent respects the fact that you are learning , I don't EVER want my foe to take it easy.

monalisa Maybe this game is not for you... try wrestling a pig or something . Sealed

Hairy (on this site) because we are close enough in skill that I can sometimes beat him so it is not a complete exercise in frustration; because his play is just unconventional enough to be full of surprises; because he is gratious and does not gloat; and because he has a wicked funny sense of humor.

 Always a good thing
