Americans are funny :)
Yeah like the current military, just on a quicker timescale.
what is the benfit for us ?
Nice looking kids. Actually you are lucky to have them at home.
I have a home with three bedrooms, an atrium, living room, dinning room, garage and large yard. I only use the bedroom, eat all my meals out and never watch TV. My home was empty and paid for.
One of my four sons came to me and said, "Dad, is it okay if I move in for a while till I get a place?"
"Sure. It's okay with me."
"How long do you think your will stay?" I asked.
"Probably three months."
My home used to be empty whenever I came home. He took his bedroom back and filled it up. Took my computer room and filled that up slowly. Took my garage and filled it up with tools and took all my tools also. I retired nine years ago.
That was six years ago that he moved in.
I haven't charged him rent yet. Now he might be home or one of his friends might be there. He repairs computers for people and most of them come and play video games.
If he moved out then my home would be empty and silent again. I like him living here it adds life to my home. I'm 74 and not getting any younger.
“What is absurd and monstrous about war is men who have no personal quarrel should be trained to murder one another in cold blood.”
It is a shame they didn't got at least those sheeps.
Trillions of dollars are just trillions of printed paper pieces, but sheep have wool, milk and meat! It would be totaly worth it.
Yes, and to make it worse this is not the first time. Water buffalo milk contains at least twice the fat content of cow's milk so it is delicious in coffee. We spent 10 years in Vietnam and did not seize even one water buffalo.
Sheep's milk, as far as I can see, is only good for feta cheese and I don't even like that very much. It just tastes weird in coffee. Also milking one water buffalo gets you much more milk than milking a sheep.
I believe they took one Water Buffalo for that Marlin Brando movie.
Although it might have a metaphorical buffalo.
Ted Turner's restaurant serves "Bison Burgers." Advertised as 1/3 the calories and 1/10th the fat of beef. They're good, but they still taste a bit wild.
lol, 3 months became 6 years? Your story reminds me of Two and a Half Man.
However, unlike Charlie, you enjoy having more people at home.
Very nice.....I am trying to teach chess to my 12 yr old boy but he seems more interested with his Xbox :(
Sir! Not a bad Daughter. Sir!Military Service is almost always bad.Said without denial. There are quite a lot of Simple people, and Primitives, in the multiple US Elite Corpses.I have seen that at Surviving the Cut. '' Over there is the Habitat of less Intilligence, the Practitioner Pointed with his forefinger. '' The fact that you want your Son to be in Service makes me Sour.Better get him at Sports such as Cycling, Fitness, Running or Swimming, or a couple, or all of these four, if he doesn't already do and you want to be proud on your Son like you would if he went in service. '... Lol, ofcourse here I am Deadeningly calling my own Professions
