I am helping someone learn how to play better and need advice on the best ways to proceed. Also I would like to know if there is a way to set-up a position and he and I work on it together.

Please help I want to do a good job of helping.

I assume that your mentoring activity is done via chess.com. If this is the case, then you might do one of two things:

- Play a friendly (unrated?) game and use the chat window to discuss ideas as they occur.

- Use the blog/post capability, post a position with moves/variations if necessary and have a conversation about it using the comments option.

I would like to be able to post a position on an analysis board where we both could work on it. Do you know if this is posible?
