I doubt if you are married, because a wife will teach a boy how to become a man, or else she will leave him eventually.

What's hilarious is a grown man acting like he's 12 while calling out another grown man for acting like he's 14.

Private message this stuff, the public doesn't care.

I'm not the one going on about how important adult / gentlemanly behavior is, so I'm free to act how I want Innocent

I merely pointing out a (glaring) inconsistency in his post.

But yeah, the people from 6 months ago seemed to have better judgement in not responding at all.

I'm thinking of using good ol' rick james only for the chess specific topics like bishop vs knight or if a pinned piece can give check... can you castle queenside when b1/b8 is attacked... those sorts of things Smile

I wonder if dear Name Deleted even bothers to read the Forums. Becouse if he does, he better apologice to God before December 2012, becouse the word is gonna end and then it sill be too late. Just saying.

The thing I really don't understand is all this complaining about courtesy.

Honestly, there is not bigger concentration of chess players living in a place than a Jail. I can even say that some Jails have more chessplayers than some clubs, and even more players than some tournaments.

I mean just look at this picture:

    http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/11679213-418/dart-starts-jail-chess-program.html

Now just think about telling any of those men a single line of what the OP put in this "open letter". I just dare anyone to do it...

We know the forum of the jail is the wall of the bathroom. And maybe someone can graffitti some silly stuff like: "Dear ---- you are no a man" the name may be scrashed out though... where I am going whit this?

Any way, my point is that chess have not moral teachings on it. The fact that someone is good at playing doesn't means is a saint, or whaever.

There is some polite people too, but they are polite on the board becouse they learn to be polite somewhere else, probably at home.

Being rude, or mean at the board is one thing, going arround writting "hurt" letters and saying other people are not man, and the so, is way worse than any mokery could happend in a board game.
