Hey everyone,

I'm going to be producing a survey on the best players of all time. I'm still piecing things together, but the main idea will be: An alien arrives and a 12-game match will decide the fate of earth.

I've always been a huge fan of Lajos Portisch one of the best hungarian players ridiculously solid probably more so than Karpov. Also Kasparov played one of his immortals against him.
