While this is an interesting effort at classifying our species, I still prefer the "rating" system; which for slow OTB tournaments has been quite effective in putting different types of players in various buckets.
One alternative way of classifying players (which is my favorite) is to group them based on the statistic likelihood of the mistakes they make, both quantity and quality-wise (re-inforcing the old adage "You are only as good as your last mistake")
