To give us an idea of where PN is so-far, in this introductory spiel and more importantly, to get this in my 'Topics Posted In' listing.
TheGrobe: TheGrobe was the winner of CPOTM June 2011, winning by a landslide. He is very active, having 16000+ points.
I wonder if that pepper has a grub in it.
It has a grobe in it!
I bought some bell peppers a while back, and they all had em. You couldn't tell from looking at the outside of them.
woodie shoulda won this thing at some point
corrijean: Corrijean was the winner of CPOTM September 2011. That month there was a lot of controversy about whether awarding a member CPOTM who did not log on for a few months was okay. In the end, a decision stood above all and corrijean won the CPOTM title. Corrijean is fairly active, she has 8600+ member points and posts many picture albums that attract a lot of viewers.
ozzie_c_cobblepot: ozzie_c_cobblepot was the winner of CPOTM October 2011. He is active in the forums and blogs, containing 8600+ member points; the blogs occasionally are displayed on the front page of chess.com. Also, he is an active chess player, an NM.
trysts: Trysts was the winner of CPOTM November 2011. However, her account is no longer on chess.com so she will not be participating in this month’s competition.
kohai: Kohai was the winner of CPOTM December 2012. She is a staff member of chess.com, having over 1800 friends and possessing 800+ trophies. She likes working on the internet, and especially chess.com. Many chess.com members consider her as a heart-warming person who always attends to one’s troubles.
That's sucks. About Trysts not Kohai.
batgirl:Will not be participating in this month's competiton.
You should reconsider, batgirl. Your posts on various chess topics are well researched and interesting. They class up the joint!
Maybe that's why she doesn't want to be associated with this thread.
chess_kebabs: Chess_kebabs was the winner of CPOTM January 2012. She is a very active member with 61300+ points. Many people enjoy talking to her. Also, she has received over 200 trophies and is part of many groups; ie Chess Nuts, a well-known group with 1000+ members.
STAR_egypt: STAR_egypt was the winner of CPOTM February 2012. That month there was a lot of “behind the scenes” campaigning, but since there was no actual proof of what exactly happened, STAR_egypt won enough votes to become the winner. STAR_egypt is a friendly chess player who is in many groups, as shown by all the support he was given in February. He has a lot of forum posts about chess openings.
ivandh: Ivandh was the winner of CPOTM March 2012. That month was where there was a change of rules in the voting process, a new twist: the Head of Nominees. The HON has the power to put up two members for elimination. In March, ivandh was the HON and eventually became the official winner. Ivandh is fairly active with 8100+ member points and posts often in the forums. His posts are often polls.
batgirl cant withdraw i was rooting for her
I never post any (serious) polls. Do you mean poles?
kco: kco was the winner of CPOTM April 2012. He was the final Head of Nominees winner which secured his place in the finals, and eventually won enough votes to win. Kco is very active; he has over 25800 member points and constantly posts in the forums. It looks like he talks to many friends through the Notes section.
electricpawn: Electricpawn was the winner of CPOTM May 2012. He was also the first Head of Nominees that month, and slipped into the finals, winning enough votes to become CPOTM. Electricpawn is fairly active with 7000+ member points and posts a lot in the forums, specifically chess games.
