Everyone looks so miserable when they're in front of a chess board, you almost need a non-chess photo to be sure.  Here are my picks:

Tina Mietzner


The pictures of Alexandra Kosteniuk that I've seen have been all over the map, ranging from "Damn!" to "There's no way that's the same girl that I saw in the other photo".  I'm such a bastard.

Having said that, there's a player here who would easily top this list but experience tells me it's best to leave it at that.
